Lara Kaufman is a Brooklyn-based architect with extensive experience leading cultural projects that build the communities within and around them. She brings a depth of design and technical knowledge to steward complex buildings from their conceptual beginnings to final completion.
New York-born and California-raised, Lara received her professional architecture degree from the University of California, Berkeley. In addition to practice, she has recently served as a studio critic at University of Pennsylvania, and as guest lecturer at NYIT and NYU. She is an active participant in local green urbanist volunteer groups.
